Good bedside manner. Very caring and listened to what I had to say. Came twice to check I was ok. Once after he had finished his operating list and again before I was discharged six hours later. Very neat keyhole surgery.

From the very first time i met Mr De'Ligouri i was impressed by the open and honest way he discussed the procedure i was to have. Both myself and my wife were appreciative of his pragmatic assessment of my situation and the commitment required from his team and me as an individual to get the best possible outcome. He also managed to persuade my wife to go on a much needed holiday with my daughters and grandchildren prior to my operation. The key thing for me was to have full trust and confidence in him as an individual that i would be in the best possible care this has remained the case in all the conversations i have had with him.

This Consultant is the nicest man I have ever met. He totally listens to you, answers your questions very clearly and very thorough in his explanations. I am having my gallbladder out within the next two months and the operation was explained step by step. I feel very safe in his hands and can only reiterate all the previous comments. First time for me going to Highfield, and can only give very positive comments for all staff, they have been fantastic. Once again, this Consultant is second to none.

Mr deLigouri Carino treated me as if I were his only patient. He was patient and very clear in the way he explained what was causing my problem - gallstones - and how he would operate. I never felt rushed and was always given plenty of opportunity to ask questions. My surgery was straightforward and totally successful, virtually pain free and I have been discharged today (7th Sept) with no further treatment required. I would thoroughly recommend him.
